If you have read my blog before then you will have noticed that my blog has moved. I decided that ‘British In Poland’ had outgrown blogspot.com now that I am getting a fairly decent readership.
I think that this design is easier on the eyes and having control over my own domain and server account means I can start to really grow this site into more than just a blog.
I have moved across all existing articles but I lost about 40 comments – so apologies if one of those was yours!
If you have any links to my old site at blogspot.com I would really appreciate it if you could update them to point to the articles here at britishinpoland.com
Updated our link to you.
Good luck with the new venture.
I admire your focus – very solid idea.
Good luck mate; I like the new look. Keep the good gen coming, there’s something very satisfying to know it’s not just me struggling to understand Poland and Polish people. Chris
Hi Guys,
A long time lurker thought i wouyld finally say Hi :) sorry if this is the wrong section mods!
I have just found this site and looked at a couple of things already, I think this is a good place to bookmark form. My wife is Polish and we moved back to her home village, so far so good, enjoying the lifestyle. I am in the middle of visits to various government building, bearing up quite well :-) Looking forward to digesting more of the site in the coming days.

Today I stumbled across http://www.britishinpoland.com... I’ve only read a portion of the site but it already contains many useful snippets of information for me and many similar situations I have encountered since moving to Poland to live. I’m 35 years old and working as an English Teacher in the Kłodzko region of Lower Silesia. I’ve been here for 2 years now and in the past week just celebrated the birth of my first child, a beautiful baby daughter with my Polish partner. I’m English, and have no Polish connections here at all, in fact most Poles I know are always curious how I ended up here. I’ll be back here soon to read up on more and listen to the podcasts. Great at last to find something so bloody useful like this site. It’s a god send. Keep it up!
